who we are
Model Aeronautical Consultancy Limited (MACL) is an aviation and engineering consultancy company. It was established in 2019 to provide services in aviation safety, security and efficiency, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and other developing regions of the world in general. We have highly experienced founders and collaborators who jointly and severally make a large pool of technical expertise in a wide range of aviation fields such as Airport and Airline Operations, Air Traffic Management Systems, Aeronautical Telecommunication Systems, and related Engineering disciplines.
MACL is registered in Uganda and its Lead Consultant is John Tusubira Kagoro, who has over 35 years in the aviation field and is a Uganda Registered Engineer. He has served in senior positions in airport management and air navigation services. He has extensive experience in airport and air navigation master planning, design, construction supervision and management. In addition, he has had wide interactions at the regional, continental and global level by participating in ICAO assemblies and other related fora. He led the Africa Indian Ocean Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APIRG) serving as its President from 2010 to 2017.

We provide master plans, siting, design, construction supervision, operations, security and safety assessment.
AIR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
We provide ATC Procedure design, safety assessment, safety management systems.
AERONAUTICAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS
We provide assessment, design, procurement, installation, inspection of communication, navigation, surveillance and avionics systems.
AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS
We provide consultation for aircraft operations.
MODELING, DESIGN & SIMULATION
We provide engineering modeling, design and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK and opensource software such as Ptolemy II, Scilab and others.
AERIAL VEHICLES (DRONES)
We provide for selection and deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles.
